In this course, you will learn about the
marketing process and examine the scope of marketing decisions that an
organization must make in order to sell its products and services. You’ll also
learn how marketers think this way—the best marketers know that the focus of
marketing is always on the consumer. You will begin to think about who the
consumers of goods and services are, what consumers need, and what consumers
want. Marketing is about understanding how to communicate with consumers. The
four activities of marketing: creating products and services that serve
consumers, communicating a clear value proposition, providing products and
services in a way that optimizes value, and exchanging (or trading) the value
of those products.
